Key Responsibilities

1. Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations.
2. Load, secure, transport, and unload materials in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.
3. Plan delivery routes and ensure timely collection and delivery of goods.
4. Conduct pre-start and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are roadworthy.
5. Monitor vehicle performance and promptly report any mechanical faults or maintenance requirements.
6. Complete delivery documentation, logbooks, and other transport records accurately.
7. Comply with all road transport legislation, fatigue management requirements, and workplace health and safety policies.
8. Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch staff, and other team members.
9. Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of assigned vehicles.
10. Assist with general transport and yard duties as required.

Essential Requirements

1. Minimum 1 year of relevant truck driving experience.
2. Valid Australian Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence (HR, HC or MC licence preferred, depending on operational requirements).
3. Good knowledge of road safety regulations and transport compliance.
4. Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.
5. Strong communication and organisational skills.
6. Commitment to workplace health and safety.

What We Offer

1. Competitive annual salary of AUD $75,000 – $85,000, plus superannuation.
