Full time Cook

We are currently seeking a full time Cook to join our team at CHEOL’S Perth Location. The position is full time. For a successful candidate an annual salary of $75k to $85k + superannuation will be offered.

Cook Responsibilities:

1. Set up workstations at the beginning of the shift with the required ingredients and cooking equipment.
2. Collaborating with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service.
3. Prepare ingredients to use in cooking including chopping, peeling, mixing, and cutting.
4. Cook food items by grilling, frying, sauteing and other cooking methods as specified in the recipe
5. Monitoring cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality.
6. Assembling of dish and ensuring great presentation by garnishing the plate
7. Comply with all work health safety policies and establishment procedures.
8. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage and work areas.
9. Comply with all food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring food is correctly stored.
10. Check quality of ingredients.
11. Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.
12. Assisting in menu planning and development, including recipe testing and creation.
13. Adhering to dietary restrictions and special requests from customers.

Skills, Experience and Qualification:

1. Minimum 1 year of experience
2. Hold relevant qualifications
3. Strong communication skills
4. Good leadership and management skills
5. Ability to work in fast paced environment
6. Excellent customer service skills
