Duties

  1. Prepare and cook food according to the restaurant menu.
  2. Check the quality and presentation of dishes.
  3. Assist with menu planning.
  4. Order food supplies and check stock levels.
  5. Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
  6. Control food portions and reduce wastage.
  7. Guide other kitchen staff when required.

Experience and Qualifications

  1. A relevant Diploma level study in a related field;
  2. Previous one year experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen;
