TRUCK DRIVER (TILT TRAY)

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety issues and mechanical items, and perform preventative maintenance.
2. Collect and verify delivery instructions.
3. Carefully manoeuvre the vehicle into positions for efficient loading and unloading.
4. Plan routes to meet delivery schedules.
5. Adhere to all relevant road safety regulations during loading and unloading operations.
6. Use appropriate equipment such as dividers, bins, or securing mechanisms to organise and secure the load to ensure that the goods remain in optimal condition throughout their storage and transportation journey.
7. Document and log driving hours, work/rest periods, and kilometres, while retaining fuel and other expense receipts.
8. Report any defects, accidents, or regulatory violations.
9. Register all the information to track each stage of the loading and unloading process.
10. Adhere to truck driving regulations, including size, weight distribution, route restrictions, parking, and break times, as well as all company policies and procedures.
11. Operate tilt tray trucks in a safe and efficient manner to load, secure, transport, and deliver.

Qualification:

·AQF Certificate II or Higher

·Valid Open HR License

·At least 2 years of experience in a related field

·Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Preferred

Salary:

·$80,000 - $90,000 + Super

1. 4 Elmore Pass, Ellenbrook- WA-6069 with a base at 42/44 Lancaster Road, Wangara WA 6065
