Job Description

Fleet Manager

The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the organization’s vehicle fleet to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations.

Daily tasks include:

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s vehicle fleet, ensuring all assets are utilized efficiently and in line with business needs.

2. Develop and implement maintenance schedules, coordinating servicing, repairs, and inspections to ensure vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant with safety regulations.

3. Monitor fleet performance, including fuel usage, operating costs, and vehicle utilization, and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.

4. Manage procurement, disposal, and replacement of fleet vehicles, ensuring selections align with operational requirements and budget constraints.

5. Ensure compliance with all relevant transport laws, safety standards, and company policies, including driver management and vehicle registration requirements.

6. Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate logistics, resolve operational issues, and maintain smooth fleet operations.

Requirements:

1) Level of required qualification: Diploma

2) Experience: At least one year of experience in the occupation.

3) Other Main requirements to be considered for the position:

- Communicate well with Team members & Supervisors;

- Attention to detail;

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Annual salary: $88,000 + superannuation (40 hours per week)
