What you will do:

1. Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming walls, ceilings, and other structures
2. Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and protective coatings to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
3. Ensure high-quality finishes that align with project specifications and company standards
4. Mix and match paints to achieve required colours and finishes
5. Protect surrounding areas with drop sheets, masking, and coverings to maintain clean worksites
6. Inspect completed work to ensure consistency, coverage, and quality
7. Work closely with site supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines
8. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
9. Always follow workplace health and safety regulations

What you should have:

1. Relevant qualification and experience
2. Proven experience as a Painter, preferably in residential construction
3. Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, equipment and surface preparation
4. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
5. High attention to detail and commitment to quality finishes
6. Good understanding of workplace safety practices
7. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
