£42,000 per annum

Brand-new Intensive Complex Care Service Nr Tamworth — and we’re looking for an experienced Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner to help shape and lead this service from the very beginning.

This is a truly unique opportunity to make a lasting impact, supporting individuals transitioning from long-term inpatient settings into their own homes.

You won’t just be joining a team — you’ll be building a culture, leading best practice, and directly influencing outcomes for individuals with complex needs.

What you’ll be doing:

Leading development and implementation of PBS strategies

Conducting behavioural and referral assessments

Creating and reviewing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs)

Supporting complex transitions into community living

Working alongside MDT professionals (psychologists, psychiatrists, ICBs, social workers)

Driving restraint reduction and promoting positive practice

Delivering training and CPD to staff teams

Analysing behavioural data to improve outcomes

What we’re looking for:

Strong experience within PBS frameworks / ABA

Proven success in reducing restrictive practices

Experience delivering PBS training

Knowledge of MCA, DOLS, safeguarding, and risk management

Full UK driving licence + willingness to travel

Relevant qualification (or working towards), such as:

BSc / MSc / MA in ABA, Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, or PBS Diploma
