Construction Project Assistant

$17/hr - $19/hr (from job description) · Full-time

Woodburn Construction CMGC, LLC is currently recruiting a full time Project Assistant. The role will be based in the corporate office with opportunities for on-site visits at construction projects. The role of a Project Assistant is to provide support to the Project Engineering Department and facilitate the coordination of multiple construction projects. Represents the company at all time through oral, written and in-person communication.


Primary Duties

  • Communicate bid solicitations through email and phone calls.
  • Preparation of project contracts and project setup.
  • Set up new project files and oversee the maintenance of project files.
  • Print and update plan sets as required.
  • Assist project team in closeout procedures including binder formatting, warranties and record drawings.
  • Assist project team with submittals and RFIs.
  • Assist project team with documentation requirements of each project i.e. job books, certified payroll, jobsite postings and the like.
  • Maintain compliance of subcontractors files.
  • Perform additional assignments per Project Administrators direction.


Qualifications

  • 1-2 Years Construction Experience.
  • 2-3 Years Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • 2-3 Years Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and support multiple team members with minimum supervision.
  • Exceptional skills in organization, diligence and attention to detail.
  • Strong computer and internet research skills.
  • Ability to work will with all levels of management and staff including outside clients, vendors and contractors.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and current insurance.
  • Accurate typing skills (not less than 40WPM).


Pay Rate: Depends on experience (Range $17-$19/hr)


Hours: Mon-Fri 7-4pm
