An Interior Architecture and Design company based in Cheshire has a great opportunity for an Interior Designer.


You will be required to attend sites that can range from Scotland to Gloucestershire, to Switzerland based on current live projects.


The Role


  • Participate in all stages of the design process from concept to completion, reporting to the directors across multiple UK and International projects.
  • Lead the creative development of concepts, FF&E design and space planning to the highest level.
  • Inspire and motivate the design team, overseeing other design team members across projects.
  • Prepare and develop presentations for client meetings, with assistance from more junior members of the team.
  • Co-ordinate and oversee project documentation such as schedules, specifications and design intent packages are being produced to a high quality.
  • Monitoring the daily tasks of other design team members across projects. and ensuring that all administrative records are being completed thoroughly and company standards are being met.
  • Provide regular updates to the Design Directors.
  • Manage project programmes under the direction of the directors, with assistance from other design team members, ensuring a seamless project delivery.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.

Interior Designer Position Requirements


  • Must have minimum 4 years of professional experience in a design studio and a portfolio of projects worked on at a high level in the residential sector.
  • Relevant Interior Design / Interior Architecture Qualification.
  • They should be fluent in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, In Design and Adobe Photoshop with strong project management & organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and Excel with a good understanding of the FF&E procurement process.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of FF&E suppliers, products and finishes.
  • Works well under pressure with an aptitude for multi-tasking and efficiency.
  • An eye for detail and a meticulous approach.
  • Candidate should have on-site experience and knowledge of liaising with architects, contractors, and suppliers.
