At CIM, we are looking for Membership and Benefits Manager to join our Customer Experience Team. This is a vital role which supports the entire business.


About the role:


To effectively manage and evolve CIM’s membership offering, and the team who support it. You will ensure your team and CIM provide an excellent experience that encourages long-term membership. And ensure continual growth of our membership community through identifying opportunities and effecting positive change.


Hybrid working is fully embedded in CIM''s company culture. The Customer Experience team follow a model of both onsite and remote working, currently 2 days office based / 3 days remote, prioritising collaboration and communication, and to help us stay connected we use Microsoft Teams.


In a typical day, you might:


  • Develop relationships with other departments to drive our membership offering
  • Drive the performance of your team in using clear and specific measures
  • Focus on and support customers through their journey with us to achieve their goals
  • Implement and manage processes that deliver maximum effects with appropriate measured effort
  • Support our customers to achieve their goals
  • Work with relevant teams to ensure our online and physical materials are fit for purpose and deliver great experience
  • Collaborate across all departments and areas of the business to seek new opportunities for membership growth by understanding and analysing customer feedback data
  • Procure and manage our business partner/suppliers to ensure maximum value for CIM within the relationship
  • Continue to develop membership management by keeping up to date with external trends and make recommendations for improvements on data supported evidence
  • Foster a customer-centric culture within your team and effectively lead the team to improve our service
  • Be responsible for communications to members that reflect our brand and tone of voice and ensure the guidance is adhered to
  • Ensure the department quality framework is fit for purpose and executed


For this role, you’ll need:


  • Proven leadership skills to motivate, coach and develop teams
  • Understanding of membership trends and metrics
  • Ability to effectively gather, present and analyse data
  • Communication skills
  • Experience in Microsoft office
  • Works well under pressure
  • Can provide solutions quickly
  • Passion to exceed customers expectations
