Marketing Data & Insight Assistant Manager – Global Financial Investments - London
Salary is up to £44k Basic, with 20% Bonus & Strong Benefits on top. This role offers a hybrid work pattern of remote and office work and flexibility (c1 days per week in the Surrey or London office, or more if you prefer).
Superb opportunity to join this leading, award-winning and fast-growing global financial sector brand as a Marketing Data & Insight Assistant Manager. The successful candidate will work with marketing campaign teams to optimise their effectiveness through more enhanced / personalised target audience selection.
You will work with campaign teams to define potential target audiences based upon available customer data from Marketo and any other relevant sources.
You’ll also support the sourcing of data to collate and report upon the teams’ KPI’s and any subsequent actions that follow from them, and will need to develop a good understanding of the flow of data from the Sales systems through to the Marketing systems.
Key skills:
- Experienced and competent at data handling (approx. 2 years+)
- Strong Excel experience, and preferably PowerBI experience
- Any experience with CRM and marketing software (eg Marketo) would be nice to have.
- Self-motivated, a proactive approach with an analytical, enquiring mind and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work on own initiative to achieve objectives and goals, requesting support when and where required.
- Strong sense of ownership with ability to work on challenging issues and overcome constraints and obstacles.
- Good customer service orientation.
- Good Microsoft office skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Desired Skills:
- Experience / knowledge of marketing campaign delivery tools e.g. Marketo, Pardot, etc
- Able to write / understand SAS/WPS or Python code (or similar alternative)
- Experience / knowledge of Sales tools / CRMs e.g. Salesforce
- Knowledge of financial services sector preferred (but not essential).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the process of creating new reports/dashboards, from understanding stakeholder requirements through to delivery. Integrate new reports/dashboards into the regular reporting cycle as necessary.
- Maintain a suite of regularly produced KPI’s, reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Support the stakeholders by using your knowledge of managing data sets to enhance the KPI’s and provide insight into what they are saying
- Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders (marketing and campaign teams) to gain a deep understanding of their activities, to better support them and deliver reporting and analysis aligned to the business priorities.
- Develop strong working relationships with key data providers (in marketing and other teams) - ensuring data feeds are in place, automated and maintained plus understanding what each data component relates to and hence how it is relevant.
- Creating visualisations which help bring data to life, and unearth underlying trends to inform stakeholders’ decision making.
- Support the campaign teams to better understand what the data outputs are telling them and provide useful and actionable insights on a timely basis.
- Increase our understanding of the customer bases and segments by ensuring greater transparency on the customer base, their demographics, and behaviours.
