Recruitment Consultant - Marketing Talent - Hybrid working



Marketing Talent is a fast-growing Marketing recruitment agency, helping customers to attract and retain the best marketing candidates.


We are now looking to hire a new Recruitment Consultant to help us to attract new clients and candidates, and to provide the best talent in the market for our expanding client base. We are looking for bright and energetic people who either have prior recruitment experience, or are keen to build a successful career in the Digital recruitment sector. We will provide thorough training in the marketing industry, recruitment processes, account management, and other skills that will enhance your ability to become the best.


This role will require a minimum of 2 days per week in the office in Horsham, West Sussex.



Main responsibilities:


  • To search for, select and screen the best talent in the market for our clients
  • To attract & bring in new clients and new recruitment projects
  • To write & place adverts for vacancies, advertise on our social media sites, and our website
  • To join relevant marketing groups and communities, engaging with our target candidates
  • To perform searches using our company CRM database, and identify appropriate candidates for each vacancy
  • To interview and screen candidates that have been shortlisted
  • To organise and schedule candidate interviews
  • To prepare and send Interview Details & Tips to candidates, and prepare the candidates for their interviews
  • To successfully place the best talent with our clients, and to help drive repeat business across all accounts.



Skills required:


  • Excellent communication skills – speaking with candidates, interviews, working closely with the consultants
  • Preferably prior recruitment experience
  • Experience in a customer facing role – prior recruitment experience, customer services, sales, or similar
  • Strong writing skills – writing adverts, emails to candidates, social media postings
  • Passion for excellent customer service
  • Energetic and confident
  • Team player, with sense of humour!
  • Strong Admin skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, Google, etc)
  • Hard working & tenacious
  • A natural born organiser!



Career Progression & Development

As the company grows, there will be lots of opportunity to increase responsibilities and move into different areas and teams, and progress to Senior Consultant / Senior Client Manager. There will be lots of thorough in-house and external training, on technology skills, process, and soft-skills, amongst others.

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Basic salary of £22,000 - £30,000 per annum (DOE), with On Target / Potential Earnings of £35,000-£60,000 in the 1st year.
